Prince Harry responds to criticism of his stories about the royal family

The 38-year-old son of Charles III believes that he is doing everything right, and his British relatives are to blame for this situation.

Prince Harry has commented on criticism of his and Meghan Markle's decision to speak publicly about the British royal family, despite the resignation of its working members. In an interview with Anderson Cooper, host of CBS' 60 Minutes, Harry stated: "Every time I tried to do it privately, there were briefings, leaks and stories against me and my wife. You know, the family motto is: 'Never don't complain, never explain" but that's just a motto." To which Cooper retorted: "A lot of complaints and a lot of explanations ... have been made through leaks."

Harry replied: “They feed them (stories) or directly communicate with the correspondent. And this correspondent will be literally a relay of information and will write the story. For the past six years, we have been told: "We cannot promise to protect you. But you do this with other family members. And here is the fundamental moment when silence becomes betrayal."

Prince Harry's autobiography 'Spare' will go on sale on January 10th and will reportedly shed light on his difficult relationship with his brother Prince William and his wife Catherine. King Charles III and his wife Camilla will be less affected by the book.
