Genesis Announces X Convertible

Genesis has been showing off their "X trilogy" for a long time now. The concept X Convertible is the finishing touch, an open-topped version of the acclaimed X Speedium Coupe.

Genesis X Convertible retained all the family features. These are two strips of head optics, the lower of which in the center moves away from the top, emphasizing the outlines of the branded radiator grille in the form of a shield. All this is enclosed between a faceted hood and an athletic bumper with three air intakes. The profile of the body, on which LED lines extend at the front, is notable for several horizontal strokes that give volume to the rounded wheel arches. At the rear, the signature taillight pattern is complemented by a discreet spoiler lip that glows. Below is a massive diffuser of complex shape. The pattern of alloy wheels deserves special attention.

Внутренний мир кабриолета Genesis полностью повторяет салон купе, который показали широкой публике ушедшим летом. Атмосферная подсветка салона отходит от электронного циферблата часов. Мультифункциональный руль с двумя джойстиками, скрывает виртуальные приборы, переходящие в сенсорную панель. Салон отделан кожей и сукном из переработанных ПЭТ бутылок.

Технические подробности новинки не разглашаются. Известно, что это электрокар. Литера «X» в названии указывает на наличие полного привода. В данном виде автомобилю никогда не суждено стать серийным. Правда, многие элементы дизайна можно будет увидеть в будущих моделях компании.
