Tips for car owners: How to parallel park your car with ease

Although at first it may seem complicated, using our techniques, and with a little practice, you will realize that everything is very simple.

For many drivers, parallel parking is difficult, because you need to feel the distance to the cars in front and behind you in order not to hit anyone.

This maneuver is necessary not only for the driver's license exam - in everyday use of the vehicle there will be many cases when you have to park between two other cars, and you should know how to do it without too many problems. Assume that we will be parking on the right.

- We get as close to the parking space as possible, and level off, making sure to drive parallel.

- We drive forward so that our right rear window shows the end of the car in front of our parking space. This way we are sure not to hit it when parking.

- Turn in reverse gear, twist the steering wheel to the right and look in the left mirror, looking for the car behind us. It should be fully visible in the left mirror.

- Put the wheels straight. Drive back with the wheels straight, while looking in the right mirror. Drive until the curb disappears from the right mirror.

- Turn the steering wheel all the way to the left. Make sure we are completely parallel to the curb. As soon as we see that the curb is completely parallel to the car body, stop.
