Buick Wildcat EV concept car is presented.

The concept car sheds light on the brand's new design language. The first models with a similar exterior will appear in 2023

The American company Buick, owned by the great and terrible General Motors Corporation, has started to actively present new electric car concepts. After loud statements regarding the release of the ethereal Electra in 2024, there was just as interesting debut of the Buick Wildcat EV. The name "Wildcat" is taken from the past, the same name was used for luxury barges from the 70s. The Americans decided to give the glorious name to the electric car, shedding light on the new design language of the car brand.

The front is crowned by a long, faceted hood, under which the horizontal L-shaped headlights are placed. All this is emphasized by an athletic front bumper with a massive air intake. The impetuous silhouette, as in the majority of electric cars, is represented by a set of smooth transitions, for the sake of aerodynamic performance. Cast wheels with the original pattern deserve special attention. The stern is represented by a unique graphic signature of the taillights and a large air duct in the muscular bumper.

The Buick Wildcat EV interior has a 2+2 seating arrangement. The doors open upwards, capturing part of the roof. Behind the multifunction steering wheel, with touch keys, there is a 30-inch cockpit, combining virtual instruments and multimedia touchscreen. The center tunnel, which includes an additional key module, is not connected to the main panel. The concept is equipped with a unique interface that can adjust the cabin temperature and atmospheric lighting according to the driver's condition. Super Cruise autopilot is also incuded in all versions.

The four-seat liftback is not destined to go into production, but many body parts will be used in future zero-emission models. By 2030, Buick plans to swith all of their production to electric cars.
