Jetour X70S 2, Toyota RAV4 and Volkswagen Tiguan's rival is out for 13122$

Just yesterday in China the start of sales of the compact SUV Jetour X70S 2022 was announced. The overall dimensions, stylish appearance and technology put the model on par with the Toyota RAV4 and Volkswagen Tiguan. At the same time, the base version is priced at 87,900 yuan, the equivalent of $ 13122. The top version will cost $ 18202 at the current exchange rate.

Jetour X70S has been endowed with a sporty exterior. On the edges of faceted grille with mesh structure there are LED headlights of complex architecture. All this is arranged in an athletic bumper with three air intakes and four-section fog lights. The body profile is notable for its narrow glazing line and pronounced straight-edged relief in combination with rounded wheel arches. The stern with smooth transitions accentuates the split lights with original graphics. The style is accentuated by chrome trim and an unpainted plastic trim that extends into the rear diffuser with a four-barrel exhaust system.

The interior of the Jetour X70S is understated. The multifunctional steering wheel conceals the analog scales. Above the line of air deflectors, the display of the multimedia system hovers, dividing the central panel into two parts. The central tunnel, seats and door cards in expensive versions are trimmed with leather.

The engine lineup is represented by a pair of turbo engines. The base model has 1.5-liter with 156 horsepower, and senior versions have 1.6-liter, producing 197 hp. A pair can act as a 6-MCP, or 7-band "robot".
