Sales of the Changan UNI-K Smart Electric iDD crossover started in China
The plug-in hybrid has almost no differences from the fuel version. SUV is available in four modifications.
Sales of the electric crossover Changan UNI-K Smart Electric iDD have recently started. The novelty is offered in 4 versions at prices ranging from 187,900 to 215,900 yuan. The SUV is positioned as a medium-sized SUV. In the NEDC cycle, the range in electric mode is 135 km, the total range exceeds 1000 km, and the fuel consumption is 5.5 l/100 km. Auto supports DC fast charging, and it only takes 30 minutes to recharge from 30% to 80%.
In terms of appearance, the Changan UNI-K hybrid almost completely repeats the design of the fuel car, equipped with an exclusive luminous logo, a frameless grille, multi-faceted headlights and a sculpted front bumper with three air intakes. The swift silhouette is distinguished by a narrow line of glazing, smooth transitions and rounded wheel arches. As for the dimensions of the model, the length, width and height of the new car are 4865/1948/1690 mm, respectively, and the wheelbase is 2890 mm. At the rear of the crossover, the lights are combined into a single unit, and are emphasized by a graphic pattern extending from the logo in the center. The rear bumper is adorned with two fake exhaust pipes. Also on the stern is the iDD badge, which indicates the hybrid power of the SUV.
The interior of the Changan UNI-K.B is packed with technology. In addition to the large LCD instrument panel and multimedia screen, there is also a 3D assistant, full-screen navigation, a rearview mirror with multimedia streaming, face recognition, driver fatigue reminder, HKUST Xunfei voice interface and an air purification system on board. Comfort options also include 12-way power seats for the main driver and 8-way power seats for the front passenger. The front row of seats is equipped with heating and ventilation. In older versions, you can find a panoramic sunroof and expensive Sony acoustics with 12 speakers.
Changan UNI-K is equipped with a Blue Whale 1.5T gasoline turbo engine with a maximum power of 170 hp and a torque of 255 Nm and an electric motor with 149 hp and 330 Nm. Responsible for power is a lithium-iron-phosphate battery with a capacity of 28.39 kWh.
