Crossover Changan Deepblue S7 recently debuted in China

More recently, the Changan Deep Blue S7 officially debuted. Auto is the first cross-country model on the EPA1 platform. The novelty is positioned as a mid-size crossover and offers hybrid and purely electric versions. The Changan Deep Blue SL03 sedan is selling pretty well, but the automaker has high hopes for the SUV.

The appearance of Changan Deep Blue S7 is made in the corporate style of the brand. These are polygonal daytime running lights located under the edges of the hood and main headlights integrated into the “cheekbones” of an athletic bumper with a large central air intake. The traditional grille is missing. The swift silhouette is notable for its thin line of glazing and smooth transitions. A single block of lights with an original graphic pattern is installed at the stern. The sporty style is emphasized by contrasting black edging and alloy wheels shod in low-profile rubber. The length, width and height of the novelty are 4750 × 1930 × 1625 mm, and the wheelbase is 2900 mm.

The interior of the Changan Deep Blue S7 is made in blue-orange tones and woven from expensive leathers, with aluminum inserts. It is noteworthy that there is no instrument panel in the car, which has been replaced with a projection display. All other control is entrusted to the large screen of the multimedia complex, which can be rotated in different directions. There are many comfort options, safety systems and electronic driver assistants on board.

The electric Changan Deep Blue S7 will be offered to customers with two power options of a single electric motor located on the rear axle. The stock modification will develop 218 forces, and the more expensive 258. There will also be a version with the so-called extended range. In simple words, this is a 238-horsepower version with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine. Information about the capacity of the battery packs and the range of the novelty is still kept secret. Probably, it will be made public closer to the start of sales, which is scheduled for the spring of this year.
