Chinese Ferrari is a Nezha GT with an electric motor

The sports coupe was first shown in official images. Technical details about the new product are already known.

New brands of cars are constantly popping up in China. As a rule, these are large or mid-size crossovers, but this time it's different. Today, Nezha Automobile has shown online official photos of its latest development, namely the Nezha GT sports car. The novelty is a two-door four-seat purely electric car. According to preliminary data, the Nezha GT will go into production in the first half of 2023.

This is the second Nezha Automobile model based on the Shanhai platform. The model has in its exterior some of the features inherent in European brands. For example, the head LED optics is very similar to the solution used in Ferrari. Otherwise, the streamlined front end with a faceted hood and athletic bumper looks quite original. The body profile, as befits a sports coupe, has pronounced lines and a sloping roofline. The taillight pattern is reminiscent of Maserati graphics. The body décor, contoured contrast frame, rear diffuser and unique alloy wheel pattern add a special style. As for body dimensions, the length, width and height of the new car are 4715/1979/1415 mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2770 mm.

Unfortunately, the automaker has not yet shed light on the inner world of the Nezha GT. At the same time, we should expect sports seats, digital instruments, a multimedia system, and, of course, a truncated steering wheel with a lot of keys and joysticks. There will probably also be decorative elements made to look like carbon.

Nezha GT can be driven by one or two electric motors. In the first case, it will be the only unit for 170 forces, and in the second, a similar unit on the front axle will join it. It is already reliably known that the latter option will cope with the 0-100 discipline in less than 3 seconds. The rear-wheel drive modification will be able to overcome 560 km of track on a single charge of battery packs, and the all-wheel drive version - 580. According to manufacturers, the model is designed for the younger generation, so car prices should not be exorbitant.
