Tesla sets a new record for deliveries in the first quarter of 2023

The company, founded and led by Elon Musk, announced that it delivered a total of 442,875 vehicles in the first quarter of 2023, up 36% year-over-year. This is a record.

Specifically, Tesla shipped 10,695 Model S and Model X, as well as 412,180 Model 3 and Model Y - 132,927 shipments more than the 310,048 that the company made in the first quarter of 2022, as well as 37,605 shipments (up 4%) more than in the last quarter of 2022.

Tesla also produced a total of 440,808 S vehicles. Specifically, 19,437 Model S and Model X and 421,371 Model 3 and Model Y. This is about 44% more than in the same period last year, when the company produced a total of 305,407 vehicles; 14,218 Model S and Model X and 291,189 Model 3 and Model Y.
