Designer Van That Opens Like a Swiss Army Knife

A folding van with an ultra-modern design that doubles your space with a beautiful covered deck.

The most refined caravanning, without giving up style and comfort, is gaining more and more fans around the world. The idea for this eye-catching van called Romotow was born in 2012 by architects and engineers from the New Zealand studio W2, and at the time it seemed impossible.

Six years later, in 2018, the first renders began to appear, and the idea began to take shape with a good chance of becoming a reality. Now Romotow already exists, and the first vans were produced by ACM Motorhomes.

The inspiration comes from swiss army knives and USB sticks, the lid of which rotates to reveal a terminal. The automatic hydraulic system rotates the inside of the Romotow 90 degrees, leaving the covered deck open, in L configuration. All at the push of a button.
