Chevrolet updates Tahoe and Suburban: modern design and advanced technologi

The Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban have been updated with a more modern look and improved performance. Changes to the exterior of these models are minimal, but the interior space and powertrain have been significantly upgraded.

Most notably, the analog instrument panel has been replaced with an 11-inch screen that is now standard on all versions of the Tahoe and Suburban. A new 17.7-inch touch screen multimedia system is installed in the center of the dashboard.

Among the external changes, it is worth noting new head optics, modified bumpers, an updated radiator grille and modified exhaust pipes. The option of 24-inch wheels is also now available.

The interior of the SUVs has undergone major changes, including a reduction in the number of physical buttons, a new wireless smartphone charger, a relocation of the gear lever to the steering column and an updated steering wheel design. Interesting options include a motion sensor in the cabin and the ability to display images from a 360-degree camera on a smartphone screen.

Tahoe and Suburban are also available with optional Air Ride air suspension with adjustable ride height and Magnetic Ride Control electronically controlled shock absorbers. In addition, starting in 2025, these SUVs will be equipped with the SuperCruise autopilot system.

There are two powerful options left in the line of gasoline engines: V8 with a volume of 5.3 liters and 6.2 liters, developing power of 360 and 426 horsepower, respectively. These engines are characterized by high performance and provide the car with excellent dynamics.

A more noticeable update was the strengthening of the three-liter diesel engine. Previously, its power was 281 horsepower, but in the new version it was significantly increased to 623 horsepower. This significant increase in the power of the diesel unit makes it one of the most powerful in its class, providing drivers with not only diesel fuel efficiency, but also impressive dynamic performance.

All engines in the range are paired with a ten-speed automatic transmission. This transmission provides smooth and efficient shifting, improving both fuel efficiency and overall vehicle performance.

The Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban are manufactured at the Texas plant. However, there are no official deliveries of these American cars in Russia.
