Bugatti is especially proud to say that the W16 Mistral is the last car from the brand to be equipped with the legendary W16 engine, making it not only a work of automotive art, but also a historical symbol of the era.

The Bugatti W16 Mistral embodies an innovative approach to design and engineering, representing much more than just a roadster. This model has undergone significant changes not only in appearance, but also in the very essence of its design.

The car body, made in a new design, combines modern composite materials and elements made by 3D printing from titanium and aluminum, which makes it not only visually attractive, but also technologically advanced.

Inspiration for the Mistral was taken from the historic 1934 Bugatti Type 57 Roadster Grand Raid, from which the designers adopted a V-shaped windshield that transformed into an elegant “visor” that frames the side windows. This gives the car a unique and recognizable look.

The radiator grille, a Bugatti symbol, has been given a more voluminous and expressive shape, emphasizing the powerful character of the Mistral. The air intake system has been revised to optimize cooling of the powerful engine located behind the passenger compartment, a nod to the Mistral's legendary predecessors.

The look is completed by vertical headlights, reminiscent of the Divo and La Voiture Noire models in design. They not only perform their main function, but also serve as an aerodynamic element, improving air flow around the car. All these details combine to make the Bugatti W16 Mistral a true work of automotive art, marking a new chapter in the history of the brand.

A special feature of the new Bugatti W16 Mistral hypercar is its X-shaped rear light, which not only adds expressiveness to the car, but also serves as an important ventilation function for the side oil coolers. This part provides effective cooling control for a powerful engine by creating an optimal pressure differential between the air intakes and exhaust ports.

The Mistral's interior features titanium and aluminum elements machined from a single piece of metal, highlighting the high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. Unusual fabric trim on the door panels and a gear lever made of aluminum with wood elements and an amber insert decorated with a sculpture of the “dancing elephant” by Rembrandt Bugatti add uniqueness to the cabin.

And now we come to the most interesting part. The W16 Mistral, named after the powerful Mistral wind, features an 8-litre W16 quad-turbocharged Thor engine developing 1,600 horsepower and 1,600 Nm of torque, making it one of the fastest roadsters in the world. Unfortunately, the brand explained that the Mistral will be the last car with the W16 engine.

A limited edition of 99 units and a starting price of 5 million euros underline the exclusivity of this model, all of which have already found their owners and will be delivered to customers in 2024.
