Chrysler brought a fresh wind into the automotive world with the introduction of the Charger Daytona, the brand's first electric muscle car. This car comes in four variations: Charger Daytona Scat Pack, Daytona R/T, Sixpack H.O., and Sixpack S.O., and offers a choice between two body styles - coupe and liftback.

The Charger Daytona's aesthetics are complemented by a signature R-Wing spoiler and Fratzog triangle badges inspired by historic Dodge models from 1962 to 1975.

The muscle car is built on the advanced STLA Large platform, equipped with a multi-link suspension and brake-by-wire brakes to provide the highest level of handling. The Charger Daytona Scat Pack with Track Package features upgraded two-valve electronically controlled shock absorbers and the largest Brembo brakes in Dodge history, including 6-piston front and 4-piston rear fixed calipers.

If we talk about the R/T version, there is 456 horsepower under the hood, which allows you to reach 60 mph in 4.7 seconds - still impressively fast. As for the distance you can cover without recharging, the Scat Pack variant offers you the freedom of 418 km, while the R/T increases this range to 510 km.

Speaking of charging, you can replenish the battery from 5% to 80% in just under an hour using a 175 kW charger. Or speed up this process to 32.5 minutes by choosing a more powerful 350 kW charger.

The new Chargers promise plenty of driving fun with a variety of racing modes. Drivers will be able to select Donut mode, which allows the front wheels to spin in place without the aid of traction control, Drift mode for controlled drifts, and use Launch Control and Line Lock to warm up the rear tires before launch. There are also special settings to prepare the battery for drag racing and track racing.

A special feature of the electric Chargers is a unique V8 sound simulation system hidden behind the rear bumper grille. The Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust system creates a rich exhaust sound comparable to Hellcat engines thanks to airflow through passive radiator ducts. If desired, this feature can be disabled to enjoy silence.

The start of production production of the Dodge Charger Daytona is scheduled for mid-year, and although the official price has not yet been announced, it is expected that in the United States it will start at $50,000.
