The Chinese Hummer EV has been unveiled - Dongfeng Mengshi M-Terrain

As is already known, in China, each automobile corporation has many subsidiaries, focused on the production of certain classes and levels of cars. The Mengshi sub-brand, which is a derivative of Dongfeng Mengshi Military Vehicles, which has been supplying military vehicles to the Celestial Army for several decades, appeared according to the same scheme. That is why the new Mengshi M-Terrain reminds many of the famous Hummer H1.

The interior of the Mengshi M-Terrain is not officially presented. However, at the presentation it was possible to notice a steering wheel with an integrated display, a virtual dashboard and a huge touchscreen of the multimedia complex. It is already known that the electric car will be equipped with an autopilot of the third level, which by means of a cascade of sensors, chambers and sensors will trace an environment every second.

The electric car is built on a completely new Mora platform. There are two levels of batteries in the bottom between the axles. The suspension is represented by electronically controlled air struts. Together with the exterior, Mengshi M-Terrain borrowed from GMC Hummer and "crab" gait, as well as elevated ground clearance, within the limits of 105mm.

The novelty is set in motion with 1,000 horsepower. Thus it is not known yet how many electric motors the SUV uses. Discipline 0-100 is given SUV for the impressive 4.2 seconds. Battery capacity of 140 kWh is designed for 500 km. The hybrid modification generates 618 horsepower and will allow to overcome 800 km without stopping.
