Gray hair is a result of the natural aging process and occurs when hair follicles stop producing melanin. This pigment is responsible for hair color, and its reduction results in silver or white gray hair.

The choice of whether or not to cover gray hair depends on personal and cultural preferences. Some people choose to dye their hair to maintain a more youthful appearance, while others prefer natural hair color as a sign of maturity.

However, there is a herb that can be used to prevent gray hair.

Rosemary contains antioxidants that protect hair follicles from oxidative stress and prevent the appearance of gray hair. This herb is used for many beauty and health treatments. Thanks to the content of vitamins A, B2 and C, iron, magnesium, zinc and calcium, it can have a healing, antiseptic and softening effect.

Rosemary can help darken or highlight gray hair as this herb contains pigments that can absorb light and give hair a darker appearance. The stimulating effect of rosemary infusion promotes the circulation of nutrients in the hair follicles.

Preparation of rosemary infusion for hair restoration:

Rosemary infusion is very easy to prepare. For this we only need fresh rosemary, apple cider vinegar and water.

Bring 0.5 liters of water to a boil and add 300 grams of fresh rosemary. Reduce the heat and let the infusion simmer for about 20 minutes. Then remove the container from the heat and add 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. Stir and let cool. Then we strain.

Place the resulting infusion in a spray bottle and spray dry hair from roots to ends until they become damp. Massage in a circular motion and leave for half an hour, after which you wash your hair.

The procedure is recommended to be carried out 2-3 times a week. The infusion can also be added to regular shampoo. Just 10 drops will help your hair recover.
