Cosmetic ice for the face: benefits and harms
Cold keeps food fresh longer, and by acting on human skin, a similar effect is achieved. Ice temporarily narrows the superficial vessels and dilates the deep ones.
To eliminate visible skin unevenness and wrinkles in beauty salons, girls are advertised before undergoing a wide range of effective procedures. The most famous is cryotherapy: the effect of cold on the skin of the face. At home, such therapy is replaced with ice: they wipe the skin of the face with it to improve its condition.
You can achieve a positive effect with cosmetic ice regardless of age. Its regular use will give the skin resistance to external irritants, elasticity and smoothness.
The difference in skin temperature (from hot to cold) first helps to open the pores, and then sharply narrow them. By rubbing your face with ice, you can smooth out not only small, but also deep wrinkles.
Blood circulation is restored, both on the surface of the skin and in its deep tissues. The skin seems to awaken from sleep - renewing and tightening.
This ice procedure is recommended to be carried out after carefully washing your face in the morning or evening. It will be enough to simply rinse your face with warm water and then wipe it with ice.
For people with sensitive skin and allergies to cold, the use of ice is contraindicated, as ice can damage the skin and a cold burn is possible.
