According to a press release, Cécred has combined a global tradition of beauty preservation with a highly effective first-class execution worked on by experts. The goal is to help all sufferers moisturize and strengthen fragile hair. In an interview with Essence portal, Beyoncé explained the meaning behind the brand's name. "I took the ending of my name Cé and made it the beginning of the word 'Sacred' to create Cécred," she explained. - Starting at my mother's salon, daytime rituals with my father, and years of experimenting with hair, the whole journey was just "Cécred." On social media, the singer announced the brand's launch date in addition to revealing its name: "Hair is sacred. The journey begins February 20th," she wrote, and even earlier shared a memory from her childhood, when hair became something more to her than it is to most children. "Who of you knew my first job was sweeping hair at my mom's salon? Destiny Child's started by performing for clients when they came in to get their hair done. "I saw firsthand how the ways we care for and celebrate hair can directly affect our souls. I have watched it heal and help women. Having learned so much along the way, it has always been my dream to continue her legacy. I can't wait for you to experience what I am creating."
