No one in this world is perfect, not even the queen with shiny skin like a glazed donut.

Hailey Bieber and her beauty brand Rhode practically started an entire movement to achieve hydrated skin. However, even the girls with the most delicate skin from the posters suffer from various atypical skin conditions just like many of us. In a new video posted on TikTok, the model and skincare guru spoke candidly about her struggle with perioral dermatitis.

“Perioral dermatitis is the same disorder in the functioning of the epidermis as, for example, acne and rosacea,” she wrote under the published clip. “In most cases, it appears as small red spots on the underside of the face, in the recesses of the nose and around the mouth.”

"I'm having a really bad flare-up right now, so I wanted to share what I use," Hailey continued, showing off both sides of her nose. – At night I use the prescribed cream with azelaic acid, which really helps to remove inflammation. During the day I use Clindamycin, which is also prescribed and you can get it from your dermatologist.”

Bieber went on to explain that she mixes prescription topicals with Rhode Glazing Milk because she says it's "gentle and helps soothe the skin." Recently, the fashion model admitted that despite everything, she is lucky with her skin, and she, together with a team of professional cosmetologists, tries to make Rhode products universal. “I don’t believe that just achieving amazing skin is the prerogative of our brand. “I know I have great skin, and I do my best to be open about how much work I put into it,” she previously told Harper’s Bazaar. “But I want to convey that people feel that their skin is being taken care of.”

The model's passion for all aspects of hydration actually goes beyond the skin - it's in her blood. “My love for hydration and saturation comes from my mom,” Bieber told People magazine at the launch of Rhode. “She has always paid great attention to hydration and sun protection, and has been very diligent about taking care of her skin for the last twenty years. I saw this devotion of hers and thought: “Okay. I know what she looks like now. So there’s something in all this.”
