Ryan Reynolds sold his cell phone company for over $1 billion
According to Bloomberg, the 46-year-old actor owned a 25% stake in Mint Mobile.
Ryan Reynolds has demonstrated the qualities of an excellent businessman the other day. The largest telecommunications company T-Mobile announced the purchase of Mint Mobile for $1.35 billion, in which the actor acquired a 25% stake in 2020. "Mint Mobile is the best wireless offering and today's news only enhances our ability to serve our customers," Reynolds said in a special press statement.
Reynolds did not do without the usual jokes. “We're thrilled that T-Mobile beat my mom Tammy Reynolds' aggressive last-minute bid. We believe that a superior 5G network will provide better strategic compatibility than my mom's slightly above-average mahjong (Chinese board game) skills,” said the Deadpool star.
Reynolds' fans believe that he made this deal to acquire the NFL's Ottawa Senators.
