Beyoncé and Adidas end partnership

According to some reports, the parties disagreed on the creative component.

Beyoncé and Adidas are no longer "friends", or rather, no longer cooperate. A source close to THR confirmed that the international German brand and the pop star have mutually agreed to part ways.

The author of the Ranaissance album began working with the sports company in 2018 and relaunched her Ivy Park brand with her participation, offering the market a new line of clothing and shoes. However, according to insiders, "creative" tensions have been mounting between the parties lately, eventually leading to the singer moving on with Ivy Park and declaring herself free of any obligation from Adidas.

Ivy Park was founded in 2016 as a collaboration between Beyoncé and Topshop owner Philip Green. The 50/50 ownership was terminated in 2018 when the artist became the full owner. The news of the split between Beyoncé and Adidas comes after they showed their latest collaboration in Dubai in January.
