The Chinese IT company Meizu has decided to change the vector of the “technological race” and direct all its attention from smartphones to devices of the future - controlled by artificial intelligence. Gizmochina writes about this decision of the technology giant and with reference to the CEO of Xingji Meizu Group.

This decision was facilitated by several reasons, however, among the main ones are the following: the duration of the change of mobile devices by the population (51 months) and the technological race of manufacturers, as well as the desire to be one of the first to present the technology of “tomorrow” - a device designed for artificial intelligence. The company plans to introduce a new mobile operating system in 2024, which will be fully adapted to the AI era.

However, along with the desire to be one of the first in the AI era, Meizu Group has already canceled the launch of some smartphone models: Meizu 21 Pro, Meizu 22 and Meizu 23. But despite the stop in the production of mobile equipment, the company will continue to support current products and services, including the operation of points of sale.
