Infamous Father of the Year: Rob Grant Records Debut Album

The hot topic of nepotism or blat in Western show business has taken a sharp turn in the case of Rob Grant. Lana Del Rey's father recorded his first album, Lost At Sea, consisting of 14 tracks. Among them is "Setting Sail On A Distant Horizon". Lana Del Rey herself, whose real name is Lizzy Grant, took part in the recording of two singles of this collection. And her colleague and creative partner Jack Antonoff became one of the producers of Lost At Sea.

Those around him had already dubbed Grant "not a father," and he clearly liked this nickname. "I love it," the 69-year-old musician told GQ magazine, noting that he first encountered him on social media. "I'm happy to be the first non-father," Rob added with a laugh. Moreover, he is already going to release clothes with this phrase. “No one wants to recognize your merits in something. God forbid you have talent. People don't want to see it. They will find a way to undermine your confidence and really make you feel bad about yourself,” he clarified already seriously.

Rob Grant's album will go on sale June 9th.
