Elvis Presley's daughter to be buried next to her father

The heiress will rest next to the great parent in his estate in Graceland.

Elvis Presley's daughter, singer Lisa Marie, will be interred next to the grave of her father and her son Benjamin at the family's Graceland House Museum in Memphis, Tennessee.

The singer died on January 12 after feeling unwell after attending the Golden Globe Awards.

The causes of death of the 55-year-old performer have not yet been disclosed, although some American tabloids hint at the harmful effects of illegal substances, with which Marie had problems in the past.

As the widow of the King of Rock and Roll and mother of Lisa Marie, Priscilla Presley, explained, she is not going to turn the funeral into a show and asks for "privacy as we try to deal with this deep loss."

Lisa Marie did not achieve such fame as her father, but one day she sang a song that became prophetic for her.

Lyrics to a 2003 song titled "Light's Out" refer to an imminent burial in Graceland next to his family.

“Someone turned off the light there, in Memphis, my family is buried there ... The last time I was there, I noticed that there was a place next to them, in Memphis, on the lawn behind the house,” she once sang then Lisa Marie. Now this place on the lawn behind the house will be her last refuge.
