Karen Shakhnazarov broke the silence and, in a conversation with Ksenia Sobchak, named his favorite movie. It's "Pirates of the Caribbean". Shakhnazarov admitted that he even planned to invite the star of this film - Johnny Depp - as an actor in his new picture. Depp was supposed to play an Englishman. However, Karen did not specify in what film was to appear Hollywood actor.

Plans were hindered by the scandalous situation with Johnny Depp and his marriage to Amber Heard.

"I wanted to invite him if it didn't start ... I had a part for him. I think he would have said yes," the director of "The Courier" recalled.
