Ryan Gosling dreams of playing Ghost Rider in Marvel movies

According to actor buddy producer Josh Horowitz, the mythical racer-stantsmen motorcyclist has long attracted the "La La Land" star.

Ryan Gosling has expressed a desire to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe as one of the superheroes. This was announced on Twitter by producer Josh Horowitz. According to him, the dream role for Gosling was Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze, a stunt motorcycle rider played in the 2007 film of the same name by Nicolas Cage.

"Ryan and I were talking yesterday about the rumors surrounding the movie 'Nova,' and he told me none of it was true," Horowitz explained, referring to the emerging information that Gosling is connected to a new Marvel project that the studio is now actively promoting. "However this morning Ryan informed me that the only superhero he wants to play is... Ghost Rider."

As you know, Gosling is a versatile actor. For example, in 2017, he played the lead role, Blade Runner Kay, in the sci-fi action film "Blade Runner 2049." Now, however, he is busy filming the comedy melodrama "Barbie" as a Ken doll. So, his possible approval for the role of Ghost Rider is entirely up to Marvel Studios and its head Kevin Feigy.
