Season 2 of The Squid Game Already Has a Premiere Date

The second season of The Squid Game will appear on Netflix this year. The platform announced the news in a letter addressed to shareholders, confirming that the popular series created by Hwang Dong-hyuk already has a release date.

The first season of "The Squid Game" focused on Gi Hoon (Lee Jung Jae) struggling to make ends meet and how this financial situation affected him in every aspect of his personal life and his self-esteem. At least until he has the opportunity to take part in a competition with big money. After meeting other contestants such as Jo Sang Woo (Park Hae Soo) and Kang Sae Baek (Hoyoung), he realizes that the competition is rigged and was created to watch people kill each other over a huge amount of money.
