Beyoncé has shared the first look at the cover art for her new album, which will be released on March 29.

The follow-up to her last record "Renaissance" sees her riding a horse again, but this time in a much more realistic image. Beyoncé sits on a white horse in a red, white and blue ensemble, holding the reins in one hand and a United States flag in the other.

In the description, she told her subscribers a bit about the making of the album, and the reasons that inspired it.

"I have a few surprises in the album and I've collaborated with some brilliant artists I deeply respect. I hope you can hear my heart and soul and all the love and passion I put into every detail and every sound," Beyoncé wrote.

Beyoncé's new album is an anticipated premiere this month. On March 29, we'll be able to enjoy "Act ll: Cowboy Carter" for the first time, an album in which the artist is expected to showcase the entire Texas side of her background.
