Angelina Jolie and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt delighted fans with a rare appearance on the red carpet. Mother and daughter attended the premiere of the Broadway musical "The Outsiders." They were photographed outside the Bernard B Jacobs Theater in New York.

Fans of the actress were able to see her youngest daughter, who is now 15 years old, for the first time since 2021. Then, three years ago, Jolie took her children to the premiere of the Marvel comic book “The Eternals,” in which she played one of the roles.

At the premiere of The Outsiders, the 48-year-old star wore a tan cape coat paired with a silk dress. She completed her elegant look with bright red lipstick and loose hair. While Vivienne chose a more down-to-earth outfit for the red carpet - a dark blue jumpsuit. Justin Levine, who selected the music and lyrics for the musical, came to the premiere in exactly the same attire.

Angelina was producing the show, while Vivien served as her assistant at that time. “Viv is a young artist who is focused on supporting others,” Jolie told People magazine. “She helped in any way she could and learned so much from Justin Levine and the entire creative team.”

Last August, Jolie also spoke to Page Six about her youngest daughter. “Viv reminds me of my mother (actress and producer Marcheline Bertrand) in the way she doesn’t strive to be the center of attention, but to be a support for other creative people. (Vivienne) is very conscious and serious about theater and is determined to work hard to figure out how to perform to a high standard." Vivienne, whose father is Brad Pitt, also tried her hand on the set. In 2014, she played the character of her mother as a child in the film Maleficent.

The musical “The Outsiders” will run until September this year. Based on S.E. Hinton's 1967 novel and Francis Ford Coppola's 1983 film adaptation, it follows rival gangs coping with the death of one of their members in 1964 Oklahoma.
