Cara Delevingne knows how to impress the public. For her appearance at the event preceding the opening of the Vogue World: Paris exhibition in the French capital, dedicated to the symbiosis of sports and high fashion, the model and actress chose a marine theme and lingerie style. She appeared in a nude corset dress with a bra in the form of conical cups, reminiscent of horns in shape. The original look was completed with a hat in the same color, taken from the sailors' wardrobe, as well as ballet flats with stiletto heels that echoed the shape of the top. The authorship of this intricate outfit belongs to one of the brands that are part of the Parisian Syndicate of High Fashion, namely, Jean Paul Gaultier and its invited creative director, the British Simone Rocha.

The "star-studded" evening included a joint show of French designers in collaboration with youth sports academies from all over France, as well as a show of paired sports such as cycling, gymnastics, tennis, taekwondo, fencing and breakdancing. And the style of the event covered themes of French fashion by decade, starting from the 1920s.

French designers of both the present and the past demonstrated their creations. In general, fashion houses that traditionally present their collections in Paris were announced. Among the guests, in addition to Delevingne, one could see Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, Sabrina Carpenter, Venus and Serena Williams.

Vogue World first opened in New York in 2022, followed by London in 2023, and now Paris. “If Vogue World: New York was a street fair, and Vogue World: London was a glamorous night at the theatre supporting the arts and cultural institutions of London, Paris will be the opening ceremony; one that celebrates 100 years of fashion and sport, as well as this extraordinary city,” Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour said at a February press conference.
