John Williams was one of the last to receive a knighthood from Elizabeth II
Shortly after the award the queen passed away.
The famous composer John Williams, whose music can be heard in Star Wars, Harry Potter and many other big movies, was made a Knight of His Majesty just before the Queen died.
As the Western tabloids write, in fact Williams was one of the last to accept the award from the hands of the then fading Elizabeth II.
Although the American musician did not receive the title of "sir," which is reserved exclusively for British subjects, Williams was moved by the title conferred upon him.
At moments like that, the composer says, you realize "just how important your work is.
The musician is already ninety, and he continues to create. Before the end of the year, his music will be heard in Steven Spielberg's autobiographical drama The Fabelmans.
Now William is working on the soundtrack of "Indiana Jones 5," after which he plans to finish writing for the movie.
