The long-awaited Ghibli Studio theme park opened in Japan

You can see famous characters from Hayao Miyazaki's cartoons in it.

Fans of Ghibli Studios have yet another reason to visit Japan. A new theme park dedicated to the popular animation company has finally opened in Aichi Prefecture. If you take the train from Kyoto, it'll take less than an hour.

A Ghibli theme park opened on November 1 with characters and scenes from the film studio's works set inside the Aichi Earth Expo memorial park, where the 2005 Expo was held in 2005. Fans of the cartoons of Hayao Miyazaki, one of the founders of Ghibli, can now look for soot in the house of Satsuki and Mei, or enter the Kotobus from My Neighbor Totoro (1988), sit quietly on the train next to the Man Without a Face from Gone with Ghosts (2001).
