Cheese is certainly good for health, but in addition to calcium, it also contains a large amount of fat, which makes it impossible to regularly consume the product.
Nutritionist Elena Solomatina spoke about the benefits of certain types of cheese - cottage cheese and brine. According to the expert, they can be eaten often and they are not contraindicated even for people of age.
“There is not much salt in cottage cheese and pickled cheeses. They have a low fat content, 15–20%,” she explains, adding that the fat content of other types of cheese is several times higher.
The salt contained in this fermented milk product increases blood pressure. The same applies to fat. The use of ordinary hard cheese will not harm the young, but older lovers of dairy products should be more careful.
