For breakfast, it is better to eat foods rich in complex carbohydrates - they provide a long-lasting feeling of fullness and give an energy boost for most of the day. Nutritionist Svetlana Pavlichenko spoke about the benefits of the most popular carbohydrate dish - porridge.
"Porridges are rich in dietary fiber, B vitamins ... This is an additional source of dietary fiber, vitamin C and antioxidants," she said, adding that it is better to eat such a breakfast without sugar in order to save yourself from extra calories, but fruits as additions would be welcome.
The expert added that during the morning meal, you can also eat a sandwich with avocado, slightly salted fish or margarine. Instead of ordinary bread, it is better to use made from wholemeal flour. Suitable for breakfast and dairy products - yogurt without fillers or cottage cheese.
