Eggs and Easter cakes can harm people with certain endocrinological diseases.

Elizaveta Kardapoltseva, an endocrinologist at INVITRO-Ural, told who and why should abstain or be careful with eggs and Easter cakes. This warning is associated with the presence of various pathologies from the endocrine system.

So, citizens with any liver disease, familial hypercholesterolemia, and an allergy to egg white should be more careful with the use of eggs. But Easter cakes should be abandoned for those who have a history of obesity, diabetes, food allergies to baking components.

"There is nothing dangerous in the daily use of any number of eggs, if a person does not have liver diseases and lipid metabolism disorders. Also note that boiled eggs are stored in the refrigerator for no more than 10 days (provided that they are not cracked, then the period their storage is reduced to 2-3 days), while it is advisable to eat them within the first 4 days," the doctor said.

In addition, the doctor said that the best diet for Easter will be a balance of nutrition and physical activity, and all "super" high-calorie meals are best eaten in the morning.
