Samsung is preparing Galaxy Book 3 with an OLED display

Samsung announces up to five different laptops.

The Samsung Galaxy S23, S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra won't appear on their own. The South Korean company may also announce the Galaxy Book 3, its new line of laptops that will replace the Galaxy Book 2 (and their respective variants). with a more powerful processor and other current innovations to compete head-to-head with the latest Apple hardware.

In fact, Samsung plans not only to update the various versions of the Galaxy Book announced last year. The company may also introduce a new laptop that will match the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros with M2 Pro and M2 Max chips.

Thus, Samsung is expected to announce up to five different laptops. On the one hand, the Galaxy Book 3 and 3 Pro; on the other hand, Galaxy Book 3 360 and Pro 360; and finally, as a flagship device, the Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Ultra.

Some of the Galaxy Book 3s may come with OLED displays. At least this is evidenced by the confirmation from ZD Net, where they claim that they have begun mass production of touch panels with this backlight.

Samsung hasn't revealed which models will feature OLED displays, but it will most likely be featured in the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra, which will be the flagship of this new line of laptops. Or at least on the Galaxy Book 3 Pro and Pro 360.

In terms of screen sizes, according to MySmartPrice, both the Galaxy Book 3 and Book 3 360 will be available in the same 15-inch version. Instead, the Pro model will be available in two sizes: 14 and 16 inches. The Pro 360 and Ultra model will only have a 16-inch variant. In the latter case, with a resolution of 3K (2880 x 1800 pixels) and most likely at 120 Hz.

The same source that reported the various screen sizes says the company will bet on Intel processors. However, they only detail the chips that will ship with the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360. Specifically, they will be the 13th Gen Intel Evo i5-1340P and Intel i7-1360. Both processor options will include integrated Iris Xe graphics along with 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB SSD.

Earlier it became known that sales of smartphones fell by almost 20%, which was the largest drop in history.
Despite the holidays, sales were the lowest since 2013.
