The unopened iPhone of the first generation of 2007 will go under the hamme

It is planned to receive 50 thousand dollars for the lot

An unopened first-generation 2007 iPhone with an estimated value of $50,000 will go up for auction Thursday.

Initially retailing for $599, the first iPhone offered early Apple users a 3.5-inch screen with a 2-megapixel camera, plus 4GB and 8GB of storage, Internet and iTunes capabilities. It didn't have an app store, it worked on the 2G network, and it was exclusive to the AT&T network.

Previously, another unopened first-generation iPhone sold for more than $39,000 at LCG Auctions, which closed in October. LCG Auctions listed the lot, starting at $2,800 (£2,500).

Earlier it became known that Dell plans to lay off approximately 5% of its workforce. More than 6,500 employees of the company will lose their jobs.
