OnePlus 11 was unveiled globally, along with a tablet, headset and keyboard
The Chinese technology brand, known mainly for its smartphones, has officially introduced OnePlus 11 to the global market along with its first tablet and other devices.
The smartphone has a 6.7-inch LTPO3 AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 × 3216 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz. Other features include HDR10+, a maximum brightness of 1300 nits, Dolby Vision and Gorilla Glass Victus protection by Corning.
As for the internal components, we find the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, equipped with Adreno 740 graphics. In terms of memory, the following configurations are available: 8 GB of RAM along with 128 GB of storage for data (including the operating system) and 16 GB of RAM along with 256 GB of storage, with all configurations supporting the UFS 4 specification.
The rear camera has become a very important component of smartphones. Here OnePlus 11 has a triple configuration: a 50 MP main lens with f/1.8 aperture and support for optical image stabilization (OIS), a 32 MP telephoto lens with f/2.0 aperture and the last 48 MP wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and a viewing angle of 115 degrees. The selfie camera has 16 MP resolution, f/2.4 aperture and auto HDR support.
Connections include support for Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / AC / 6 and Bluetooth 5.3, but it is important to note that the smartphone does not have a 3.5mm jack, so it does not support "traditional" headphones. The 5000 mAh battery supports 100W fast charging, the device measures 163.1 x 74.1 x 8.5 millimeters and weighs about 205 grams. The operating system is Android 13 with OxygenOS 13 Customization Layer and a base price of 849 euros, with open sales starting February 16.
To compete with Samsung, the OnePlus 11 will have five years of security support with four major operating system updates. That's a plus in a market teeming with devices.
OnePlus Pad Tablet
The smartphone did not appear alone, but was accompanied by the brand's first tablet, the OnePlus Pad. This device is equipped with a Dimensity 9000 SoC from MediaTek, 12 GB of RAM and 5G connectivity. The company notes that this is the first tablet to feature a 7:5 aspect ratio display. It measures 11.26 inches, has a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a native resolution of 2,800 × 2,000 pixels. As for peripherals, it supports the OnePlus Stylo digital pen and the OnePlus magnetic keyboard. Pre-orders will begin in April 2023.
The OnePlus Pad will support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Among its features, the brand announced that it has a battery life of up to one month in standby mode with a 9,510mAh battery that supports fast charging up to 67W.
OnePlus Buds Pro 2 wireless earbuds
New OnePlus Buds Pro 2 wireless headphones were also unveiled, which basically have the same design as the first generation and use Bluetooth LHDC 4.0 Ultra-HD as the engine and a component called the OnePlus Melody Boost dual controller system. which was created with Dynaudio to provide voice clarity. The Chinese brand announced 39 hours of battery life and 10 hours of battery life when charged in just 10 minutes. The price will be 179 euros, and open sales will start on February 16.
OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro
The devices come bundled with the OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro, which was developed in collaboration with a community of enthusiasts owned by the brand. Among its features are a special design and the ability to move or place keys, which in itself is not an innovation in the industry.
