Nokia announced the decision to change the logo
Nokia is changing the iconic logo to signal a change in strategy.
Finnish telecommunications equipment manufacturer Nokia will rebrand for the first time in 60 years. The new logo uses the word Nokia in five different forms, and has replaced the iconic blue of the old logo with a range of vibrant colors.
Nokia announced Sunday plans to change its corporate identity with a new logo as the telecommunications equipment maker aims for aggressive growth.
"An association with smartphones has been born, and today we are a technology company for business," chief executive Pekka Lundmark told Reuters in an interview.
