A promising display and a camera that keeps up
In terms of display, the Honor Magic 5 Pro comes with a 6.81-inch OLED panel. It includes LTPO technology capable of adapting refresh rates up to 120Hz. That is, when the terminal displays a still image on the screen such as text or a photo, the refresh rate is set to 1 Hz. If the user scrolls or plays content instead, the refresh rate increases to 120Hz. The display of the Honor Magic 5 Pro also stands out for its brightness, which reaches 1800 nits.
Of course, the photo section is also one of the most important areas of the Honor Magic 5 Pro. In particular, Honor Magic 5 has a thickness of only 7.8 mm. It also lacks the 50-megapixel telephoto lens of the Pro model. In this case, it is also equipped with a telephoto camera, but with a resolution of 32 megapixels and with a maximum zoom range of 50x compared to its older brother's 100x.
Other specs such as processor, battery capacity, wide and ultra wide camera or display are the same as Honor Magic 5 Pro.
Price and availability of the new Honor Magic 5 and Magic 5 Pro
Honor Magic 5 Pro will be available in two colors: black and a greenish tint dubbed Meadow Green.
The version with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage will cost about 1199 euros (210 euros less than the base version of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which includes 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory). Honor Magic 5 will be available at a price of 899 euros.
