Apple increases the cost of battery replacement for iPhone and MacBook

According to an Apple Insider report, Apple has decided to increase battery warranty fees.

"Beginning March 1, 2023, battery warranty fees will increase by $20 for all IPhone models up to IPhone 14," the report said.

The battery replacement fee for any IPhone that comes with a Home button rose from $49 to $69. For IPhone X and later models, the cost is now $99.
