WhatsApp Agrees to EU Transparency Terms on User Terms of Service Changes
The messenger agreed to the conditions related to explaining to users who can access their data.
Following dialogue with EU consumer protection authorities and the European Commission, WhatsApp, owned by US company Meta*, has pledged to be more transparent about changes to its terms of service.
It will also make it easier to reject updates if the user does not agree with them, and it will be more clearly explained whether the rejection may lead to the inability to use the services of the messenger.
