Samsung is preparing a massive update for the cameras in the Galaxy S23

The focus of this update (no pun intended) is camera optimization.

Samsung is planning to release a "big update" for the Galaxy S23 series. The main focus of this update is camera optimization. On Reddit, several Galaxy S23 users complained about the pictures they took with these phones. This includes the top-of-the-line Galaxy S23 Ultra, which features a 200-megapixel Samsung HP2 image sensor.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra has a 16:1 main camera that captures images with a resolution of approximately 12 megapixels. But since pixel binning allows pixels to receive more data, the resulting photos are expected to be sharper, with less noise, and better dynamic range. But that doesn't mean the photography system of all three models can't benefit from the setup.
