Insiders revealed the details of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Gen 4

Some time ago we talked about the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor from Qualcomm, where it was mentioned that the manufacturer will try for the first time to use "titanium" cores and support only 64-bit application architecture.

However, at that time there was no information about the graphics core of the new system on a chip, so we could not study this issue, but today an insider with the nickname Revegnus shared information about the capabilities of the graphics core, saying that the Adreno 750 will run at 900 MHz, and the Cortex processor -X4 will operate at 3.40 GHz.

A separate rumor claims that the frequency of the same "super core" will be 3.70 GHz instead of 3.40 GHz - it is likely that this may be a more powerful version of the core, exclusive to the Samsung Galaxy S24 series.

As for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, which is also in development, Revegnus claims it will be mass-produced on TSMC's N3E manufacturing process. For those who don't know, N3E is an improved 3nm process technology from Taiwanese giant TSMC that has performance and power efficiency advantages over N3 or TSMC's first 3nm iteration.

In addition, an insider shared some very interesting information about the potential multi-threaded performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, in which the chipset is able to beat the Apple M2 and get a staggering 40 percent advantage over the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. If so, then the processor will be very powerful indeed.
