Samsung took care of confidential data on broken devices

Samsung has introduced a new mode that will allow owners not to worry about their data when repairing equipment in service centers.

Samsung has launched in South Korea a new special mode "Repair Mode" in some models of smartphones of its brand, which allows you to lock all the personal data of the owner for the time of repair of equipment.

When you activate the repair mode on the device will be available only pre-installed applications, and personal photos and videos will also be closed from the specialists of the service centers. After the repair, the owner exits this mode, restarts the phone, enters the password and all user data is restored.

It is unknown when this feature will be available in other markets.
