Channel One, citing the wife of Russian fashion designer Valentin Yudashkin, announced the death of the maestro at the age of 59.

"Как Валентина не стало?! Сначала Вячеслав Зайцев, а теперь он... Знаю, что он сильно болел в последнее время. Приношу глубочайшие соболезнования его жене и дочке", - выразила соболезнования заслуженный тренер СССР по фигурному катанию Татьяна Тарасова в беседе с РИА Новости.
