Pamela Anderson: 'Tommy Lee was my true love'
The 55-year-old actress made such a confession in her memoir Love, Pamela.
There is a boom in memoir publishing in Hollywood. Before the readers had time to “cool down” from the scandalous confessions of the star of the series “Friends” Matthew Perry and the British Prince Harry, the autobiography of the actress and sex symbol of the 1990-2000 Pamela Anderson arrived in time. In Love, Pamela, she reminisces about her tumultuous youth and, in particular, her relationship with her first husband, Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee. In this marriage, they had two sons. "We just wanted kids and always be together," Anderson writes of the beginning of their romance. "My relationship with Tommy was the only time I was in love," she admits.
They played a wedding in 1995 on the beach in Cancun, Mexico. The bride was in a bikini, the groom was in Bermuda shorts. And this marriage was accompanied by countless headlines in the news and paparazzi chases. At times, their life and love was like an action comedy. “We had fun,” Pamela writes. “Our rule was to have no rules.”
But the missing home video tape of their lovemaking did not have the best effect on Anderson and Lee's family life, leading to violence and showdowns in court. “It ruined our lives from relationships onwards, and it’s unforgivable that people still think they can benefit from such terrible things, not to mention that it is a crime,” the actress claims in her book. After Tommy Lee, she married several more times, but to no avail. The autobiography "Love, Pamela" will go on sale on January 31st.
