Britney Spears shared photos of her wedding dress
The outfit for the 40-year-old singer was designed by her friend, the famous designer Donatella Versace.
Britney Spears married Sam Asgari in a small ceremony in Los Angeles on June 9th. And her bridal look matched the pop princess title that the singer's fans awarded her at the beginning of her career.
The 40-year-old bride walked down the aisle wearing a custom-made white silk cadi dress designed by Donatella Versace herself. It took the Italian brand's seamstresses 700 hours to make. The outfit has a classic silhouette with a deep neckline, which effectively hugs the shoulders and connects on the back with pearl buttons. The dress is adorned with a high slit at the front and a three-meter-long train at the back.
"The desire to design costumes for Britney and Sam's wedding came naturally to me," the designer said in a special statement. "A tremendous amount of love went into every detail. Together with our atelier, we created a dress and tuxedo that expresses elegance and glamour. And together they come together just perfectly!".
To complete the look, Spears wore a spectacular veil made of 4.5 meters of silk tulle decorated with silk satin. The same fabric was used to make her pumps. She emphasized the connection of this look to her signature stage look with a choker necklace and translucent white gloves, with cropped fingers, in the style of the 90s.
