Barbra Streisand has written a long-awaited memoir

Barbra Streisand's memoir My Name Is Barbra will go on sale November 7th. This was announced in social networks by a representative of the famous American singer and actress. Over the course of a 60-year career on stage and screen, she became Billboard's record holder for the most number one albums on its charts.

According to the annotation, Barbra will remember her childhood in the book, the difficult period of becoming an actor and the process of recording the most famous songs. In addition, she promised to talk about her friendship with actor Marlon Brando and former US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, and also about finding happiness in marriage with James Brolin.

"The book, like Barbra herself, is heartfelt, funny, straightforward and mesmerizing," Penguin Random House said in a press release.
