Stars refuse to perform at the coronation of Charles III

Following Adele and Ed Sheeran, Elton John, Harry Styles and the Spice Girls did it, citing busy schedules.

Two more artists and one musical group turned down the opportunity to perform at the coronation of Charles III this spring. A concert in honor of the significant event is scheduled for the day after his ascension to the throne - May 7th at Windsor Castle. And it was assumed that the most famous masters of the British pop scene would delight the ears of high-ranking viewers. However, the stars themselves are somehow in no hurry to participate in the high society meeting.

So, the "hottest" at the moment musician Harry Styles, the legendary author of hits Elton John and the "sensation of the 90s", the Spice Girls group refused the invitation of Buckingham Palace. Styles is currently touring the UK and is scheduled to play a show in Coventry on May 7th. John has previously stated that he has retired from live shows due to age and health conditions. And the Spice Girls have not yet decided whether to reunite for the coronation. Prior to this, Adele, Ed Sheeran and Robbie Williams refused to perform at the coronation.

But it is already known for sure that Kylie and Dannii Minogue, as well as the band Take That, will perform at the concert in honor of the accession to the British throne of Charles III.
