Bad taste: 5 mistakes when using foundation
Improper use of the tool can ruin the most spectacular image.
Foundation is an indispensable item in any fashionista's makeup bag. It evens out skin tone and masks imperfections that appear on the face at the most unexpected moment; will complete the look. But sometimes the foundation "goes over to the side of evil", nullifying all efforts to create the perfect make-up. Let's look at the mistakes that should not be made:
"Forgotten" sites
Poor shading of the cream makes the complexion uneven. If you, when applying the cream on your face, forget about the neck and décolleté, then you should correct this defect. To blend the cream, it is better to use a brush - it will allow you to distribute the color evenly over the surface, without "bald spots".
Tone
Ideally, the tone of the product should be identical to your skin tone. Too light color will make the face pale, too dark will "yellow" the face. To prevent this, give preference not to dense means, but to light tonal foundations. They give the most natural shade.
Footprints
Sometimes it happens that the foundation curls up right on the face or “slips”, leaving spots behind. Both that, and another, brings disharmony in an image. To avoid this, testing the cream before buying (put a little cream on your hand and evaluate the result) and fixing makeup will help. Purchase a setting spray. They should sprinkle their face after applying foundation.
Imprints
Often the foundation is imprinted on clothes (this sin is especially noticeable on light fabrics). This makes it look untidy. You should change the sequence of actions - first get dressed, and then proceed to applying make-up.
Desert
Too dry skin under a layer of foundation looks like the Sahara Desert. Some products emphasize skin flaking, so you should be especially careful when choosing a cream - it should hide defects, and not highlight them. And before applying the tonal foundation, it is better to moisturize the face with micellar water and a serum suitable for your skin type.
